*Elston,
Epic's sire, was
a highly successful race horse in Poland, by a National Champion,
who produced a National Champion Stallion of Poland. His dam
also a National Champion mare of Poland. Elston is of model
conformation possessing a beautiful head and eyes, an exceptional

characteristic feminine look--and a remarkable producer. Ekstaza
is a paternal sister to Polish National Champions and Chief

The following is an
excerpt from the summer issue of Pacific & Southwest
Arabian Magazine:
One of the best known
international sires of the past decade, PEPTON was
foaled at Jannow in 1977. His sire was the immortal
BANDOS (Negatiw x Bandola/Witraz) and his dam the
famous broodmare PEMBA (Czort x Penza/Faher). He was
Polish Reserve National Champion Stallion twice in
1983 and 1984 while he stood at stud at Michalow and
Kurozweki respectively. In 1985 he was leased to the
Budd's at KaTalPa Arabians and sired 55 purebred
foals in addition to going U.S. National Top Twenty
in halter, before leaving two years later to stand
at Janow and then Kurozweki again. In 1989 he was
named Polish National Champion Stallion.
"A brave and
excellent racer" said Roman Pankiewicz of this
Polish National Champion Racehorse, PEPTON 2/16
(11-4-0) AP+8 was the winner of the Criterium
Stakes. The fact that he sired a number of race
winners both in Poland and the U.S. must have some
racing breeders paying close attention.
